Last weekend, a few players have continued to step up their game culminating in their possible inclusion in this week’s FUT 21 Team of the Week (TOTW).
Included in this week’s prediction are also players who have not been particularly impressive throughout the whole season, but boasted an incredible display during last weekend’s fixtures.
Here are some of the possible names that may crop up in tomorrow’s official reveal:
– Alphonse Areola (Fulham, on loan from PSG) = OVR 82
~ The French shot-stopper is bound to impress his home club, PSG with his latest performance against current underwhelming champions, Liverpool. His composure to protect his team’s clean sheet should earn him a place in this week’s TOTW.
– Jordi Alba (Barcelona) = OVR 86
~ 31-year old left-back, Jordi Alba scored the first Barcelona goal in the match against Osasuna on Sunday. Even after the goal, he was relentlessly running forward to join the attack, ensuring extra bodies for Barcelona to keep up the pressure against the home side.
– Andreas Christensen (Chelsea) = OVR 79
~ The young Danish defender kept a cool head while managing Chelsea’s backline, evident by the two clean sheets kept against both Merseyside clubs, Liverpool and Everton. Chelsea won both games respectively.
– Luke Shaw (Manchester United) = OVR 81
~ Englishman, Luke Shaw continued his good form against Crystal Palace and Manchester City. He managed to get himself in the score sheet against their fierce Manchester rival too, while helping to cover his defensive colleagues superbly to maintain United’s on-going clean sheet run.

~ Merino scored the only goal during Real Sociedad’s 1-0 win against Levante, keeping his side close on the heels of Sevilla for the Uefa Champions’ League group stage spot.

~ The otherworldly talented Erling Haaland scored a brace in Dortmund’s 4-2 loss against Bayern Munich. Although he couldn’t help his team against Bayern’s continuous onslaught throughout the game, his two goal heroics early on proved his gigantic mentality in playing against Europe’s top clubs.
