Elder Scrolls Online – What’s Coming In Update 27

Elder Scrolls Online is getting a base-game update. The patch addresses a series of issues and also brings some new features. Update 27 patch notes include performance improvements, player housing updates and new features, outfit revisions, and many issue fixes. We will start with the most exciting update which is the one regarding player housing. Character pathing and house guests are the two new features. Character pathing allows the house owner to create walking paths for their assistants, pets, and mounts. Players can create personalized walking paths for individual characters; be it pet, mount, or assistant.

A path has nodes. The player can set the speed to each node. They can also set how long the character stays at a node before advancing to the next one. You can also choose the type of path. The other feature, house guests, allows you to collect characters to have as guests in your home. These characters are collectible items. You will obtain them by playing the game and from the crown store. The update also comes with two new homes. One is located in Hjaalmarch and the other on the Frozen Coast. New furnishing plans are also coming to the game.

Performance improvements may not be as exciting as new housing features but they’re equally important. A game can have amazing content but if it doesn’t run as it should then the players won’t be happy. The performance improvements refer to server and client optimization. You can read the details on the forum but what you should know is that the game will be more stable, the character selection loading time is reduced, and the trials have better performance.

Outfits have been revised too. The pages for Firedrake, Pit Daemon, and Stormlord are easier to obtain. Some outfit styles have had their application cost reduced by 50%. The Sea Giant motif will be part of the game when the Stonethorn DLC launches on August 24th. Update 27 also comes with major combat revisions. Each class and many class abilities have been updated. Traits for armors, weapons, and jewelry have received boosts and nerfs. The same applies to Mundus stones. Updates 27 also concerns with bug fixes and updates for DLCs, itemization, and base-game features such as the Alliance war, quests, zones, exploration, dungeons, crafting, audio, and animations.

Update 27 is a free update. If you want to give it a try before it goes live, you can check it out on the PTS. If you want more items and gold, don’t forget to check out U7BUY ESO store!
